We put Hard Coat for Furniture, 8 oz out for crafters who want the job done in one pass. We bottle this one at 8 fl oz, which lands on a steady run of ordinary projects.
We mix it on water, which means clean-up is a rinse and nothing sharp hangs in the air. It is non-toxic by our formulation, which is why it turns up in classrooms as often as in studios.
There is real build in this one — it does not run off a vertical edge. We want the paper to show, not the medium, so it clears as it cures. Our own surface chart lists it for appliques, beads and gems, canvas and ceramics. Keep the lid on tight and it will outlast the project.
Paper wrinkles because it is carrying too much water, not because it is bad paper. This part of the line is a decoupage glue and sealant mixed thin for exactly that: less water into the sheet, a smooth film that dries clear, and enough grip to hold a finished puzzle together as one durable piece. Thin coats from the middle out do the rest.
Working out whether this is the right bottle? Our formula chart lists what each one is tested on, and dry time and cure time explains the wait before a finished piece can be washed.
★★★★★Ordered to make puzzle piece jewlery. Does a great job for sealing my freshly painted pieces. Easy to brush on . Dries quick.

★★★★★The Mod Podge Hard Coat for Furniture arrived quickly and was the size I expected. I used it to apply decoupage paper to an old dresser, and it worked beautifully! This was the second time I purchased it, and I will continue to order the product in the future.
