Here is Outdoor Sealer and Finish, 16 oz, the way we bottle it.
We want the paper to show, not the medium, so it clears as it cures. We mix it on water, which means clean-up is a rinse and nothing sharp hangs in the air.
This one goes on things that live on the patio rather than the mantel. It is non-toxic by our formulation, which is why it turns up in classrooms as often as in studios. Our own surface chart lists it for appliques, beads and gems, canvas and ceramics. If you are new to us, this is a sensible first bottle.
Outdoors is the hardest thing we ask a decoupage glue to do. This one is mixed as a water resistant sealant: rain, damp and sun are all fine once it has cured, and it dries clear and durable on terra cotta, wood and metal. It is not waterproof, and we would rather say so than have you create something for a birdbath that fails in a month.
Working out whether this is the right bottle? Our formula chart lists what each one is tested on, and dry time and cure time explains the wait before a finished piece can be washed.
★★★★★I used this for a project to make an art print look painted ( saw it on instagram) and it totally worked! The pic is while it was wet and it dried totally clear but left a look of brush strokes.

★★★★★So far, I have used this on two separate signs for the outdoor garden. One sign was metal and the other sign was wood. The sealant seems to be holding out fantastically during the summer season. Make sure you use the right paintbrush as it will leave limes if you don’t.
